The Village historique acadien is a tourist complex consisting of a 2.2 km trail lined with some forty historic buildings, all brought to life by costumed bilingual (English and French) interpreters.

In a bucolic setting, the many characters present the little and big moments in the daily life of Acadian families (1770 - 1949), their customs, their ingenuity and their warm welcome.

More than just an open-air museum, the Village offers a host of cultural experiences, a hotel, two boutiques and a restaurant.
