The Baker Lake Chamber Music Festival was born in 2021 when violinist Sarah Harrigan invited 10 international musicians for a week-long residency in August, culminating in four concerts in the idyllic setting of Baker Lake. Since its launch, the Lac Baker FMC has stood out for the exceptional quality of its musical creations and its intimate, welcoming environment. For one week each summer, this region of northwestern New Brunswick is transformed into a unique cultural oasis: a place where inspiration meets well-being and sound meets silence. The FMC Lac Baker is a state of mind, ready to welcome musicians and visitors to offer moments of exceptional human and artistic density.
