Our first activities took place in the summer of 2017, to highlight the importance of diversity, inclusion and solidarity with the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, mainly on the Acadian Peninsula, in Caraquet, in the middle of July. This first meeting was a great success and enabled the newly-created organisation to envisage annual activities.

The mobilisation of members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and the allied population enabled us to organise workshops, conferences and cultural activities that proved popular with a wide audience. It also enabled people from the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities to break out of their solitude and assert and display their pride.
