The artworks presented in Of All Senses do not offer a uniform or prescribed experience. Some invite slowing down, while others encourage listening, touch, or being guided by the imaginary. The four artists propose encounters rooted in our memories, our bodies, and our communities. Together, they create a space where different ways of perceiving and feeling can coexist.
Through sound, touch, image, and text, the exhibition explores what shapes our relationships to ourselves, to others, and to our surroundings. Informed by a complex multiplicity of lived experiences of identities, cultures, and disabilities, the works draw attention to realities that still often remain at the margins of dominant narratives. They invite us to re/orient ourselves within stories and spaces, reminding us that our journeys take shape through the stories we carry.
The title Of All Senses refers both to the senses of the body and to the meanings we attribute to our experiences. It suggests that there is no single way to experience an artwork, just as there is no single way to inhabit the world. The exhibition invites reflection on what may emerge when we take the time to breathe and to encounter what surrounds us—and one another—in different ways.
