Winter 2009. Iannicko N’Doua, then a drama student, arrives in Côte d’Ivoire. A father and brothers and sisters, whom he has known little or not at all, are waiting for him. Between Sainte-Thérèse and Abidjan, the culture shock is immense. How, then, can he bridge the distance, set aside his judgements and forget 20 years of absence?
Iannicko N’Doua presents his first play here, directed by his long-standing collaborator Marc Beaupré. Far from the clichés to which Africa is often reduced, *Neige sur Abidjan* is an intimate work, certainly, but one that helps to renew the genre of autofiction by blurring the lines between present and past experiences.
