Champion is a concentrated dose of irresistible humour that blends self-deprecation with unlikely situations. In this show, Mario confronts his own contradictions with a touch of madness: training as a professional boxer straight after a Botox session, becoming the owner of a mare despite never having ridden a horse, or thinking he’s a genius when… well, you get the picture! With Champion, Mario brings to light that “great champion” slumbering within each of us, the one who pushes us to aim higher… or to make fools of ourselves in the funniest of ways.
