There’s a certain kind of song you only really hear late at night. Leif Vollebekk writes those songs.

The Ottawa-born, Montreal-based singer-songwriter has built a devoted following with music that feels deeply reflective. His breakthrough album Twin Solitude earned a Polaris Music Prize shortlist nomination, a Juno nomination, and 60 million streams. The emotional depth of Vollebekk's music often draws comparisons to artists like Van Morrison & Jeff Buckley.

“[His] songs […] are pensive and restless, blossoming with stream-of-consciousness verses that bear the marks of long nights spent alone on the road.” -— The New York Times.

Since then, his music has travelled far beyond that first record, appearing in film and television and filling concert halls across North America and Europe. But live, the experience is different.

Opening for Leif will be Rose Cousins.
