CAYENNE
With her debut album, Snowflake, Cayenne tackles fundamental themes that are very dear to her heart: feminism, millennial values,
coming out, solidarity. She articulates her artistic reflection around the role that the North Shore has played in shaping her identity. With sensitivity and a rather dark sense of humour, she speaks candidly about the love-hate relationship that characterises those who have left the region where they grew up.
With her uninhibited folk rock, she takes the audience on a journey where jazz, Latin music and hip-hop sometimes burst in. Cayenne combines a musical road trip
with personal stories to bring the audience together around a well-crafted narrative. Both energetic and touching, the artist makes her presence felt on stage with her back-and-forth between the festive and the introspective.
